Thank you for shopping with Toolyride. We want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains your rights and how returns, exchanges, and refunds work.

1. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer shopping online, you have the right to cancel your order:

  • Within 14 days of receiving your goods, for any reason, without needing to give a reason.
  • To cancel, simply notify us by email at jeyasegari1@gmail.com before the 14-day period ends, stating your order number and that you wish to cancel.
  • Once you've notified us, you then have a further 14 days to send the item(s) back to us.

This cooling-off period does not apply to items that are made to your specification, personalised, perishable, or that you have used in a way that goes beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

2. Return Window

You may request a return or exchange within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition that you received it
  • In its original packaging, with all accessories, manuals, and tags included
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

Items that show signs of use, damage not caused by us, or missing parts/packaging may be refused or subject to a reduced refund.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • Gift cards
  • Items marked as final sale or clearance
  • Custom or special-order items
  • Consumable parts that have been used or installed (e.g. blades, fuel, abrasives)

4. Faulty or Damaged Items

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact us immediately at jeyasegari1@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the issue. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for faulty goods, and this policy does not affect those statutory rights.

5. How to Start a Return

  1. Email us at jeyasegari1@gmail.com with your order number, the item(s) you'd like to return, and your reason for the return.
  2. We will confirm your return and provide instructions, including a free return shipping label/method.
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging and send it back using the method we provide.

Please do not send items back without first contacting us, as this may delay processing.

6. Return Shipping Costs

Returns are free. Toolyride covers the cost of return shipping for all eligible returns and exchanges — you will not be charged for sending the item back to us.

7. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds are processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned item back.
  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
  • Please note that depending on your bank or card provider, it may take a few additional business days for the refund to appear in your account.

8. Exchanges

If you'd prefer an exchange instead of a refund, let us know when you start your return. We will arrange to send a replacement item or an alternative of equal value, subject to stock availability. If there is a price difference, we will let you know before processing the exchange.

9. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received a refund within the timeframe above:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your card issuer or bank, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
